The International Pickleball Manufacturers Association (IPMA) is dedicated to supporting independent pickleball manufacturers by providing reliable, cost effective pickleball paddle testing and certification for paddles targeted at recreational pickleball. Our mission is to ensure that paddles meet industry standards for performance and safety while giving manufacturers the tools to build consumer trust through our IPMA Seal of Approval.
As a full independent non corporate owned organization, the IPMA provides a straightforward path for pickleball equipment manufacturers to certify their products for non sanctioned tournaments and club play. IPMA testing and certification is based on existing industry standards and ensures players can trust the quality and performance of IPMA tested and approved paddles. By focusing on affordable certification and transparent testing methods, the aim of the IPMA is to level the playing field for small and medium-sized businesses and provide an alternative to expensive certification fees and no certification at all.
